KNIT FEATHERS OF CANADA
knitting pattern 2027008

$5.50 USD*

Each Province and Territory of Canada has its own official bird emblem. This pattern includes 13 charts so you can knit a a feather from each bird and display them together in your own homage to Canada. These feathers are double the size of the actual feathers to capture the gorgeous details and patterns you would find in a real specimen (knit sizes range around 12" and 24" give or take some inches for the smallest feather.) Displayed alone, or as a bunch, these feathers will make gorgeous wall art. They would also make the perfect addition to your purse or dreamcatcher. With full color charts, and tutorials including how to read the charts, i-cord techniques, how to knit in the round with three needles and more, this pattern is an easy to follow how to.

The charts are designed in colors that are true-ish to the species of bird, but can be completed using any colors you like for customized feathers for any project!
